Meet Our Fur Kids!
Mia aka #1
Mia is currently 7 years old. Her birthday is on April 1st - April fools! (no, but really)
She is originally from Cusco, Peru. Cielo found her about to be thrown out by a person who had finished selling her siblings but thought she would get sick from malnourishment because of the size of her overbite. She also had a pretty bad eye infection.
She is extremely smart but very clingy given that she was an only child for years. She loves chimkin, cuddles, and walkies.
Her name means “mine” in Spanish. She is a Pekingese mix.
Inti aka #2
Inti just turned 6 years old. Her birthday is on January 1st - Happy New Year!
Inti came as the solution to Mia’s extreme separation anxiety. Cielo tried everything (comfort blankies, training, etc) until it was clear that she needed a companion.
Inti was adopted from Lima, Peru.
She is extremely sweet but also very grouchy. She loves to cuddle and kiss but only when and IF she wants to. Think of a cat - that’s Inti.
She loves her sisters in her own way and is the most compassionate one out of the 3: she always goes to check on the others if they are barking or crying.
Inti LOVES toys and always brings one to join her for “hungry” time. She likes her space but loves all of us to pieces.
Inti means “sun” in the indigenous Quechua language. She is a Shihtzu mix.
Kimsa aka #3
Kimsa will be 3 years old on May 1st. She was adopted on July 2022 from a rescue center that brought her, and her biological sisters and mom, from Georgia (the state, not the country).
She is the life of the party at home! She loves to play from the moment she wakes up to the moment she goes to bed. She plays with Mia the most but also forces Inti out of her grouchy shell. She is not scared of Inti’s growling, and they end up chasing each other up and down the apartment.
Kimsa loves LOVES LOOOVES food and eats super fast (we’ve gone through several slow feeder bowls because she ends up learning them well enough to still eat pretty fast).
She has learned to “sit pretty” when she wants attention, which is basically all the time.
Kimsa means “Three” in Quechua, which is suitable for the baby of the family. Her eye color changes constantly, and she is a Chihuahua mix.
